Long Distance OSP, Outdoor Plant Duct Installation General Construction: The cable consists of 24 color-coded SM G652D optical fibers in 2 color-coded loose tubes and 24 color-coded MM OM3 optical fibers contained in 2 other color-coded loose tubes. These tubes are filled with a thixotropic gel to prevent the ingress of water and SZ stranded with one filler around a dielectric central strength member. Fiber-glass strength yarns reinforce the cable core and an outer jacket completes the cable structure.
